Review of the chosen character
The book 'Drakula' mainly focuses on the Jonathan Harker who is a young English lawyer who was traveling to Transylvania to help Drakula transfer real estate in England. Along the way a few more characters are introduced in the book, the character that I have chosen is Lucy Westenra who has accepted the marriage proposal of Arthur Holmwood while rejecting the proposals of Dr. John Seward. Lucy seemed like a very interesting character in the book although she is not the main character, she still appeared very interesting and mysterious within the book. She had problem of sleepwalking, and that aspect straight away cought my attention that she may have very interesting personality, her fiancee Jonathan was not with her at the time and she has not heard from him in a while, which makes it very intriguing to see what emotions and actions she will show throughout the book. During one of her sleepwalks she was seen near the graveyard overlooking the town while mysterious thin, talk, black shape is hovering over her. After she wakes up from the sleepwalking she remembers nothing apart from feeling cold and confused. This part really intrigued me and I wanted to find out more about this character and what actions it will lead to. Her friend Mina finds two red marks on her neck which to me suggested straight away that she has been bitten by the vampire. Lucys health starts to decline over a few weeks time, and she needed a blood transfusion. She gets attacked by the vampire again while laying in the hospital, it gave me the idea that vampire wanted her on his side and not to get better and become a human again, shortly after she dies, nut before that the doctors have noticed that her teeth have lengthened and she started to gain the appearance of the vampire. I chose to do this character for my project because I imagine a very interesting make up look that I could create on my model, I want to bring her two personalities in one make over, half of her side would be sinister, mysterious and evil, while the other looking innocent, pretty, and sincere.
